CCMA 2017 Co-op Tours Announced

Co-ops, co-ops, and more co-ops!

We are very pleased to announce the CCMA 2017 co-op tours! Our Host Committee has put together some phenomenal tours guaranteed to inspire, educate, and delight. CCMA attendees will have the opportunity to stroll down the aisles and shop at Seward, Eastside, The Wedge, Lakewinds, Mississippi Market and Valley Natural Foods! Tours will also visit local vendors and farmers providing organic products to area co-ops such as Peace Coffee and Open Hands Organic Farm. Participants will learn about community organizations affecting change in the Minneapolis area.

Whether you are interested in visiting Co-op Partners Warehouse, or want to learn about NorthEast Investment Cooperative’s model for community investment, or explore Lakewind’s Maker to Market program, each of the six tours will provide a glimpse into the innovative cooperative community that is thriving in the Twin Cities area.

Take a peek at the tour descriptions now and start thinking about which one you’d like to attend. In late May, we will send out a survey for participants to preregister for tours.
